HTC Touch Diamond - Music Problems

I am not sure how does Windows Media Player works exactly and I am not going to find out how, I might be a bit old fashion. However I tried to upload some music to my HTC Touch Diamond through the Sync function of Windows Media Player and ended up with all the things that I had in the My Documents folder on my PC downloaded on the phone (I am talking about all the MP3 files). If I am missing something well OK i didn't know what, where or how.
So how did we remove all those MP3 files, how did we delete them from the Music Library? Since I choose the Internal Storage from WMP as a Sync destination all the music files were in the "\Internal Storage\Music" folder on my HTC Touch Diamond. I connected the phone to my PC and clicked "Explore" in ActiveSync.
After trying to delete all the folders, I came to a problem with the current file I was playing on the phone. Just go to the music tab and navigate to the next song you just deleted and then try deleting it from the "\Internal Storage\Music" folder. All the deleted songs will be still on your phone's music library and showing on the music tab. So how do we remove them?
Go to "\Application Data\HTC\AudioManager_Eng" you will find a file named "AudioManager_Eng.vol" there. Try renaming the file to what ever you want. I renamed it to "Blah.vol". Then just
soft reset your HTC Touch Diamond. After the soft reset the phone will boot up again and you will have your music library on the Touch Diamond cleaned up. You will see "Searching..." when you click the music tab on the TouchFlo interface. Onece the search is over the phone will create a new "AudioManager_Eng.vol" file in the "\Application Data\HTC\AudioManager_Eng" folder on your phone. Then just go and delete the "Blah.vol" file and you are done.
I personally upload all of my music in the "\Internal Storage\Music" folder via drag and drop through the "Explore" on the ActiveSync. This way I think I am controlling what I have on my device in a simple yet efficient way.
