EQO, Free Instant Messaging for your Windows Mobile Pocket PC

EQO is a free, easy to use JAVA application for your Pocket PC or other Windows Mobile device that lets you place cheap international calls, text messages and instant messages to anywhere in the world. International calling rates start as low as 2.3 cents per minute, international text messages for 10 cents, and access to mobile IM services like MSN, AIM, Yahoo, Google Talk, ICQ, and Jabber is free.

EQO is remarkably simple to use and does not require a new contract, computer or calling card. It works just like your mobile's phonebook - simply scroll through your contacts and click to call or send a message. EQO works with your existing phone plan (local minutes and a bit of data) to complete cheap calls and messages at some of the lowest rates in the world.

When you download EQO, it will prompt you to start the application, and you’ll be asked for permission to allow EQO to access the internet, it may take a few moments for EQO to connect.
Once it connects EQO will ask for permission to upload your Pocket PC address book’s contacts. To place a call or send a text message, scroll down and click on the person you want to contact, or click on "Dial Number" to dial the number directly.
